Hello, my name is Leah (she/her).  I am a Licensed Counselling Therapist Candidate (LCT-C) and Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC). My combined foundation with a Bachelor’s in Nursing and Master’s in Counselling Psychology has supported my deep appreciation for the practical application of care and the nuanced understanding of human experiences. My passion as a citizen therapist is to take part in the responsibility of supporting and engaging in a larger community. I am committed to providing accessible counselling from a non-pathologizing person respected approach. If you are experiencing women’s health-related issues, anxiety, depression, stress, family/couple issues, uncertainty, addictions, life transitions, or have experienced trauma, we can explore a non-judgmental relational space together! I am accepting new clients.  

My background trainings include: Grief and Loss; Narrative Therapy; Internal Family Systems; Emotion Focused (EFT) Couples, Individuals, and Families; Attachment-Based Family Therapy for Relational Trauma (Healing Through Connection for Adolescents, Young Adults, and Their Families); Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT); Dialectical Behaviour (DBT); Spirituality; Trauma Informed Care Relational Psychoanalytic approach.
