I have a thriving passion to create a safe and supportive space where all clients can feel comfortable and empowered. I practice from a person-centered approach and my role is to listen with empathy, offer non-judgmental support, and help you explore what matters most to you. I am committed to building a therapeutic relationship based on trust, respect and genuine connection.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminology from St. Thomas University and a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and am currently working under supervision as I continue to grow my skills and experience in the field. I am particularly mindful of creating an inclusive, affirming environment.
I am currently a member of the College of Counselling Therapists of New Brunswick (CCTNB) as a Licensed Counselling Therapist – Candidate and a professional member of the Canadian Counselling & Psychotherapy Association and a Certified Canadian Counsellor (C.C.C.). I have achieved a certification in the Brain Story from the Alberta Family Wellness Initiative. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, attachment issues and family systems, and can utilize different modalities to tailor the counselling experience to each unique client.
My goal is to provide all clients with the support and tools that best suit their needs.
I’m currently accepting new clients, and I offer both virtual and in-person appointments. Please feel free to reach out to admin@mciwellness.com for any questions or to schedule an intake appointment!
